We stopped in Dallas to visit a good friend, who is (shock) also a game developer. It was pretty awesome, he showed us around town a bit and we even saw where JFK was shot. Once you’re actually looking at the scene and you get a sense of how the ballistics had to play out, you come to two conclusions:
- How the fuck did they not secure this? It’s a fucking two lane street with multiple clear line of sight trajectories. It’s almost as if they wanted him to get shot.
- To anyone with even a rudimentary grasp of physics (specifically Newton’s second law of motion), the conspiracy theories are actually more believable than the official story. Generally speaking, this is a bad thing.
Our last night we went to a rave at a motion capture studio. There was a lot of wtf going on there. But it was super cool, pretty much everyone there who wasn’t a gogo dancer was totally n3rdc0r3 (in at least one case these attributes overlapped), and probably on mushrooms. Well, everyone except the guy trying to sell me mushrooms.
